CICADA4CE - project meeting in Dubnica nad Váhom (26.-27.3.2026)

On 26-27.3.2026, the project meeting of the CICADA4CE project - Efficiency of the ClImate Change ADAptation management by integration of ecosystem services and smart social approaches in Central European cities- was held at the premises of MU Dubnica nad Váhom. The Interreg CICADA4CE project helps cities to design an effective climate change policy based on the concept of adaptation using ecosystems and communities. The partners work on the joint creation of proposals and action plans created by citizens and other stakeholders in the environment we call ULL Urban Living Labs (urban living laboratories) in all five pilot cities (Dubnica n. Váhom, Břeclav, Sosnowiec, Kranj, Nichelino). The project meeting was dedicated to presentations of individual cities and their action plans, preparation of the so-called Handbook, as well as establishing mutual cooperation between primary schools in Dubnica n. Váhom, Břeclav and Sosnowiec. The meeting also included a tour of the so-called Smart Community Park at Centrum 1 Elementary School, where green elements are combined with digital innovations for learning and play.
